Group pans restaurateur for foie gras statement

Vancouver -- Liberation B.C. stepped up its campaign against Vancouver restaurants yesterday with a complaint to the Better Business Bureau about Manny Ferreira, owner of Le Gavroche restaurant.Mr. Ferreira was quoted in a business paper as stating that he did not believe that the foie gras he gets from a Quebec farm is produced by force-feeding birds. The animal rights group is asking for a public apology.
